Frequently Asked Questions
Q: How do I book you for my wedding/event?
A: You can call me or email me with the date and location of your event and the number of people who will need services.
Q: Do you do hair too?
A: Yes. I’ve been doing hair for 2 years now, I’m an Aveda graduate and I’m licensed to cut and color hair in Florida. I am good at updo’s although if it’s something really complex I will refer you to another hair stylist. I’m great at curls, waves and styling hair.
Q: Will you have enough time to do both makeup and hair?
A: Yes. If there are enough people for both makeup and hair, I will bring a colleague along who will assist me with services.
Q: Do you travel to my location or do I have to come to you?
A: With the exception of the initial consultation and trial, I come to your location!
Q: Is there a booking minimum?
A: Yes. There is a $500 minimum to book my services.
Q: Could you please send me a price list?
A: All of my rates are available in the "rates & service menu" on my website.
Q: Is there a Travel Fee?
A: Within Miami-Dade, there is no additional travel fee. However, if I am traveling to Palm Beach county (or farther north), or to The Keys, there may be an additional fee.
Q: Do you do Airbrush makeup?
A: No. I apply a foundation primer to begin with and I use a special brush to apply the foundation, and I use a beauty blender sponge to achieve the natural, flawless finish that I specialize in. I customize the coverage as needed to cover acne, scars, dark circles and any imperfection you may have. The makeup lasts all day and night, looks flawless and natural and my brides love it.
Q: What kind of makeup do you use?
A: I have an array of products and brands in my kit but mostly for foundation I use Makeup Forever HD. For color products, eyeshadows, blushes, lipsticks I use mostly MAC.
Q: How long will my makeup stay on?
A: Your makeup will last all day, until you remove it at night.
Q: Will my makeup last if I cry? or sweat?
A: All the products I use on your eyes are waterproof/resistant, so your eyes are not going to smudge away, but if you do cry, simply dab away with a tissue and your makeup will remain in place all day. Your face makeup is not waterproof so if you tend to get oily you may need to touch up with a translucent powder or rice papers. You will need to retouch your lips. I will give you the information of the lip products used for you to pick it up for the day of.
Q: Can I bring someone with me to my trial?
A: Yes I think it’s a great idea to have a second opinion to support you and give you feedback about your look!
Q: Is your pricing negotiable/are there any discounts?
A: No. You are getting Master Makeup Artist and Hair Stylist. My talent, my years of experience and your ease of mind, comfort and confidence are what you are paying for and it is worth it.
